PURPOSE: To back up and restore a series of image data and document data, which is being processed by a computer, in real time without using a mass- storage memory. CONSTITUTION: When there is an input from one of input means 1-4, it is judged whether or not the input indicates command execution and when so, the input command is converted into interpretable information, which is written in a memory 8. The information written in the memory 8 is stored in an external storage device 9. In this external storage device 9, a serial operation history is backed up, and read out and displayed at, for example, a display part 7. Further, if an image which is being edited changes, its video signal is recorded on a magnetic tape 24 by a video recording and reproducing device 20. |
