PURPOSE: To improve sound insulating performance by a method wherein a sound insulating double floor comprises a floor base material and support legs to support the floor base material on a floor board ground, and a sheet-form material to absorb vibration is attached on the side where the floor base material is positioned facing an underfloor ground. CONSTITUTION: A vibration-absorbing structure wherein a high density sheet- form material is laminated on a sheet-form material having resiliency is used as a sheet-form material 3 absorbing vibration, and the surface of the sheet-form material 3 is laminated on a floor base material 1. In this case, the sheet-form material having a Young's modulus of 1.0×10<6> Pa or more and a loss effect having a loss factor of 0.2 or more is used as the sheet-form material 3 for absorbing vibration. Further, a polyvinyl chloride sheet, a rubber sheet, a lead sheet, or a sheet filled with various powdery materials, such as barium sulfide, as a mass component, is used as a high density sheet-form material. Further a porous material, such as glass wool, is disposed between a floor base material 1 and an underfloor ground 5. This constitution reduces the generation of energy forming a vibration source through suppression of vibration of a floor base material 1 and provides high sound insulation properties.
