PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition having excellent workability, improved fluidity even at low temperature and under low pressure, capable of providing a molded article having excellent external appearance characteristics, by blending an unsaturated polyester resin with a fatty acid amide, an inorganic filler and reinforcing fibers. CONSTITUTION: This composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. of an unsaturated polyester resin with (B) 0.1-20 pts.wt. of fatty acid amide (e.g. stearic acid amide) having 80-150 deg.C melting point, preferably containing an unsaturated group, (C) 50-350 pts. wt. of an inorganic filler (e.g. calcium carbonate) having 0.1-100μm average particle diameter and (D) reinforcing fibers (e.g. glass fibers) in an amount of 2-40wt.% based on the total.
