The copying system is used to provide holographic copies of a master hologram containing validity markings. The master hologram is provided by a hologram of a randomly structured optical element, e.g. matt disc, providing the validity markings, each copied hologram having at least one colour characteristic layer and/or applied to a photosensitive layer. The validity markings of the master hologram may be used to form an embossing die stamp used to provide a corresponding hologram pattern in a transparent plastics layer. |
