METHOD OF GENERATION OF OPTICAL RADIATION AND DISCHARGE LAMP FOR ITS ACCOMPLISHMENT

FIELD: electrical engineering, and namely, methods of generation of radiation of optical spectrum arising as a result of an electrical discharge in gas; low-pressure discharge illuminating lamps. SUBSTANCE: the method of generation of optical radiation consists in creation of a gas discharge in the atmosphere of inert gas with radiating agent in the bulb of optically transparent material. The novelty is in introduction of radical HO as radiating agent. The discharge lamp uses a bulb made of optically transparent material filled with inert gas and radiating agent. Radial HO used as radiating agent of the source can be obtained from water or alkali of metal of group II. EFFECT: expanded range of ecologically pure illuminating facilities. 7 cl, 6 dwg
