FIELD: storage and cleaning of gas and condensate in fields. SUBSTANCE: underground storage operates both as gravity settler and as chemical reactor where gases are cleaned from hydrogen sulfide and other acid products. Hydrogen sulfide is oxidized mainly to elemental sulfur, and acid products are neutralized by alkaline solution. Use of underground storage as reactor-separator makes it possible to give up metal expensive ground installations, reduce cost of marketable products and increase range of industrial usage of natural gases containing hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities.
