FIELD: cine and photographic equipments, in particular, directional reflection projection screens used in professional television, in different camera units and diascopes, at "daylight" projection at exhibitions, educational cinema, etc. SUBSTANCE: in concave projection screen, having a layer of material with a reflecting surface with a great number of oblong concave reflecting lenses formed in the layer surface and oriented in the same direction, the reflecting lenses are formed in the surface of a layer of thermoplastic polymer and made in the form of a part of ellipsoid or cylindrical surface, whose larger axes pass along the layer surface, 0.5 to 500 mcm deep. In the method of production of the projection screen, including forming of the reflecting surface on a layer of material and moulding of a great number of oblong concave reflecting lenses oriented in the same direction by application of load, prior to moulding, application of microellipsoids or microcylinders oriented in the same direction on a layer of thermoplastic polymer is accomplished, with their larger axes positioned along the layer surface, and the smaller axes being 2.0 to 100.0-mcm long; moulding of lenses is accomplished by means of thermal moulding of microellipsoids or microcylinders up to the their partial immersion in the layer at the softening temperature of the respective polymer; after moulding the layer os cooled down, the load is removed, and the microellipsoids or microcylinders are extracted from the layer, and forming of the reflecting surface is accomplished after extraction of the microellipsoids and microcylinders by application of metal with high-reflecting properties.
