FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electric connector may be used for fast connection of ends of cables and various electric devices. Connector includes socket 1 and plug 2 each containing case 3 and 4 with at least four flat elements 5. Case 3 has space with internal walls and case 4 has external side faces. Contact elements 5 of socket 1 are put in pairs on to plates 8 kinematically coupled to case 3 by means of axles 9 for angular mobility. Axles 9 are positioned in parallel to longitudinal axes of contact elements. Contact elements 5 of plug 2 are made fast to common plate and can be replaced. Cover 11 with pressure screws 12 and rotary lever 13 which axes are arranged in opposition and in parallel to longitudinal axes of contact elements 5 are hinged to case 3. Case 3 has centering pin 16 and case 4 - hole, their axes are placed perpendicular to working surfaces of socket 1 and plug 2. For joining of connector working part of case 4 in inserted into space of case 3. With this contact elements of plug 2 are superimposed on contact elements of socket 1 which plates turn about axles 9 matching contacts 5 in one plane, pin 16 enters hole and internal walls 6 are mated with side faces 7. After closing of cover 11 and turn of lever 13 into vertical position screws are screwed in snugly pressing contacts 5 of socket 1 and plug 2 and provide for reliable contact without use of friction forces and interference.
