SUBSTANCE: welding transformer has a magnetic core with primary and secondary windings, and one or two yokes carry auxiliary adjusting disc windings, which can be turned and moved relative to the end faces of the main windings, envelop the yokes throughout the entire length so that their turns are parallel to the yoke longitudinal axes and hinge-joined to the magnetic core at the yoke end faces. EFFECT: fine and coarse control of welding current within a wide range, improved mass and dimensional characteristics and reduced cost of welding transformer. |
