PURPOSE: To lower the price and easily alter display contents. CONSTITUTION: When an LED14 provided with an elastic member 20 between lead wires is mounted between lengthwise electrodes 24, the lead wires come into contact with the lengthwise electrodes 24 individually. Then when a plus and a minus voltage are applied to the lengthwise electrodes alternately, an LED14 provided with an elastic member 20 between lead lines, having the plus- side lead wire brought into contact with the lengthwise electrode 24 applied with the plus voltage and the minus-side lead wire brought into contact with the lengthwise electrode 24 applied with the minus voltage illuminates, so that a character, a pattern, etc., formed of LEDs14 are displayed. To alter the display contents, an LED14 is extracted from between the lengthwise electrodes 24 and rearranged. |
