PURPOSE: To obtain the selective calling receiver with a braille output function in which a visually handicapped person reads reception information by storing reception information to a memory section and outputting braille with a braille output section when reception information is received or as required. CONSTITUTION: The selective calling receiver 1 having a ring tone display section 2 receiving a selective calling signal with a selective calling reception section 3 to report the arrival of a call to a carrying person is provided with a memory section 4 storing the received information and a braille output section 5 providing a braille output when the content is received or as required. Then the information propagated as a radio wave is received by the selective calling reception section 3 and the arrival of a call is reported to the carrying person by the ring tone display section 2 and the received information is given to the memory section 4, in which the information is stored. Furthermore, the information of the memory section 4 is outputted as a braille by a braille output section 5 by entering a request of a braille output with key operation from a braille control section 6 when the information is received or as required. |
