PURPOSE: To obtain a charger for the battery of a radio telephone in which connection for charging can be carried out easily and reliably and the battery can be taken out smoothly from the telephone while improving the design and the self-cleaning mechanism. CONSTITUTION: The power supply charger for a telephone comprises a charger body 20 involving the requirements of a charger including a charging terminal 22, and a cover 25 applied to the charger body 20, wherein the cover 25 is provided with ribs 26 at positions for pressing the battery in the body 20 when the cover 25 is closed.
