PURPOSE: To provide a connector with an ejecting mechanism capable of surely holding a board, an IC memory card, etc., with sufficient holding force. CONSTITUTION: A connector 10 has an ejecting mechanism to separate a connected board 26 including a circuit board inserted in one side edge of the connector 10 and an IC memory card from the connector 10. At the other side edge of the connector 10, an elastic engagement means 40 is provided to be elastically engaged with the connected board 26 for restricting the movement of the connected board 26 to the separating direction so that the displacement of the board in the separating direction can be restricted.
