LENGTH ADJUSTING COUPLING FOR ELECTRIC FUSION

PURPOSE: To provide a length adjusting device for electric fusion which is devised to perform fusion joining even when the length of a pipe is insufficient when synthetic resin pipes are interconnected. CONSTITUTION: A socket 11 is arranged at one end of a joint body 1 made of synthetic resin and an electric heater wire 2 is embedded in the inner peripheral surface of the socket 11, and a spigot 12 having an outside diameter approximately equal to the inside diameter of the socket 11 is formed at the other end. This constitution performs fusion joining even when the length of a synthetic resin pipe is insufficient.
