<p>PURPOSE: To simplify a boosting means for driving a three-phase full-wave rectifier that includes NMOS transistors as high-side switches. CONSTITUTION: A three-phase full-wave rectifier 2 including high-side switches 21 to 23 made of NMOS transistors rectifies a three-phase AC main voltage U, V or W. An auxiliary coil 17 extended from at least one output end 14 out of three-phase main output ends and wound around a stator core is provided. A gate electrode of a high-side switch 21 is driven by generating a AC control voltage higher than the AC main voltage U' from one end of the auxiliary coil 17. When the stator cores 11 to 13 are formed, the auxiliary coils 17 to 19 are obtained only by turning additional windings to generate the control voltage for driving the gate electrode of the high-side switches 21 to 23. Then, a complicated boosting circuit (for example, a transformer and a switched capacitor) can be omitted. The number of parts is reduced, wiring is simplified, and a small body of unit is realized.</p> |
