<p>PURPOSE: To make it possible to expand a visual field angle over the entire part of a screen by varying the divided display electrodes within pixels or the liquid crystal voltage at the adjacent pixels by devising pixel constitution. CONSTITUTION: The display electrodes 13a, 13b vary the values of the respective auxiliary capacitors Cs of the display electrodes 13a, 13b by respectively varying adjacent scanning signal wirings 11 and the areas superposed via insulating layers. The parasitic capacitance values Cgd between the respective gate terminals and drain terminals of switching elements 14a, 14b are varied with each display electrode by varying the connecting areas of the semiconductor parts of the switching elements 14a, 14b and the display electrodes 13a, 13b. The values of the auxiliary capacitor ratio Cs/Ct of the respective display electrodes to the total capacitor Ct and the parasitic capacitor ratio Cgd/Ct are varied with each of the respective display electrodes in such a manner, by which the different liquid crystal pixel voltages Vlc are obtd. within one pixel or the adjacent pixels for the one video signal Vs and the wider visual field angle as the entire part of the liquid crystal panel is obtd.</p> |
