The rolling bearing consists of rolling bodies (10) in a cage (20), of a thin race (30) with a non-circular internal surface (31) acting as an external raceway for the rolling bodies (10) and with an external surface (32), and of a sheath tube (40) with an inner chamber (41) intended to receive the external surface (32) of the race (30) and with an outer coating (42) intended to placed in a housing. The outer covering (42) has a peripheral external recess (43) which is set back and located at least partially dead in line with the chamber (41) so as to delimit, on the one hand, an elastic radial median wall (44) and, on the other hand, centrifugally projecting end collars (45), the external surface (451) of which acts as a bearing surface for placing the sheath tube (40) in the housing.
