PURPOSE: To provide a gravure printing plate generating no moire and no rosette pattern and capable of reproducing fine details having resolution. CONSTITUTION: An assembly of recessed cells 1 is formed on the plate face of this gravure printing plate, and the density gradation of an image is reproduced by the change of the total area of the cells 1. The arrangement of the cells 1 at least at the highlight and medium tone of the density gradation is made random, the area of the cells 1 is constant at all gradation portions, the density gradation is reproduced by the change of the distribution density of the cells 1, or the distribution density of the cells 1 is constant at all gradation portions, and the density gradation is reproduced by the change of the area of the cells 1. |
