PURPOSE: To provide the data communication system whose speed is higher than the system utilizing the USCCH without intermitting voice communication with respect to the data communication through a PHS mobile station (PS). CONSTITUTION: Data terminal equipments 3, 4 are connected to PS1, PS2 respectively. The two PS1, PS2 are connected to a CS 5 by the PHS and when busy, the user of the PS1, PS2 operates the data terminal equipments 3, 4 to make mutual data communication. Since the transmission of data by this communication system is conducted automatically when the silence state of voice signal, the communication by the PS is made even during data communication.
