PURPOSE: To provide the cordless telephone set in which the frequency is effectively used and a master set and a slave set are surely connected in a short time to transmit the voice. CONSTITUTION: A master set 10 connected to a telephone line and a slave set 20 connected to this master set by radio are provided, and the state of the transmission frequency of the other party is given to control circuits 14 and 24 by reception circuits 12 and 22 provided in the master set 10 and the slave set 20, and idle channels are detected there and are stored in memories 19 and 29. Idle channel information of the transmission frequency of the other party stored in each memory is transmitted to the other party before connection, and the received idle channel is used to transmit the voice signal. |
