<p>PURPOSE: To provide a double solenoid type solenoid valve which can be used as a single solenoid type solenoid valve, and whose main valve body may not be switched even though two pilot valves are doubly energized by mistake when the solenoid valve is used as the double solenoid type. CONSTITUTION: A first piston 18 is arranged at one end of a main valve body 12, and also a second piston 19 and a third piston 20 are arranged in series at the other end of the main valve body 12. First piston 18 and the second piston 19 are mutually formed in the same diameter, and the diameter of the third piston 20 is arranged smaller than that of the first and second pistons. Two solenoid mechanisms 30a, 30b for applying pilot fluid to the first piston, and to the second and third pistons, are arranged in a double solenoid type solenoid valve. A switching device 6, is also arranged therein, which can switch the pilot fluid supplied to the first and third pistons 19, 20, in a switching position where the pilot fluid is applied to both second and third pistons, and in a switching position where the fluid is applied to the small diametral third piston 20 only.</p> |
