PURPOSE: To provide a color cathode-ray tube(CRT) display device with which purity and raster move generated by manufacture dispersion in the deflection yoke of a CRT and an external vertical magnetic field to be operated on the CRT can be simultaneously compensated in optimum states. CONSTITUTION: A pair of upper and lower coils 4a and 4b for compensation are respectively installed behind a deflection yoke 5 and at a funnel part 1c of a CRT 1, and a current for absorbing the distorted component of electron stream caused by the manufacture dispersion in the CRT 1 and the deflection yoke 5 is supplied to those coils. On the other hand, the external vertical magnetic field is detected by a magnetic detector 2 and a current corresponding to that external magnetic field is added to this current and supplied to the coils 4a and 4b for compensation. |
