PURPOSE: To lessen the influence of noise light radiated to the periphery of the emission end of an optical waveguide. CONSTITUTION: A light-receiving element 13 is attached to an optical element 12 by covering the photodetector 17 of the light receiving element 13 with a light shield filter 26 having a window 25, and aligning the window 25 with an emission end 14a. The size of the window 25 is shows to be approximately equal to the size of the emission end 14a. |
