PURPOSE: To facilitate comparative reading of projections by enabling image characteristic to be observed in the condition of being arranged, even if the images are different from each other in the radioactive ray irradiation condition or in the reading system. CONSTITUTION: Information accompanying images corresponding to image data together with the image data are read out from a memory device (S21). A picture element size, gradation number, and gradation characteristic which are desired are set (S23) based on information (S22) of a person to be detected contained in the information accompanying images. Then the characteristic of actual image data is compared with desired data, and hence the correcting process of the picture element size, the gradation number, and the gradation characteristic is carried out, so that image data of an identical person are arranged in a fixed image characteristic (S24-S29). |
