PURPOSE: To provide a supporting body for resin coated paper type imaging material in which problems due to transcription of dirt of a cooling roll are not generated, performance such as curl property and adhesion of base paper to a back resin layer is favorable, stable production at high speed is possible, and the substrate is paper. CONSTITUTION: This supporting body for imaging material is featured that in the supporting body for imaging material coated in layers with polyethylene series resin on the paper substrate on the opposite side to the side of the paper substrate provided with an image forming layer, a resin layer (A) adjacent to the paper substrate includes high pressure method low density polyethylene series resin over 75wt.% of which the resin layer on the opposite side to the side provided with the image forming layer has a hexane extraction quantity under 3wt.%, a resin layer (B) of the outermost layer to the paper substrate face includes tubular method low density polyethylene series resin (X) of hexane extraction quantity under 3wt.% and high density polyethylene series resin (Y) as main ingredient, and the weight ratio (X/Y) is set to be (10-35)/(90-65). |
