PURPOSE: To effectively restrain abnormal current at the time of the occurrence of a shortcircuit or the like in a nonaqueous electrolyte lithium battery, and eliminate a current breaking element. CONSTITUTION: Lithium or a lithium compound is used as an active material for a negative electrode, and a metallic oxide or a conductive polymer to become an oxidized state due to p-type doping is used as an active material for a positive electrode. Regarding this nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the surface of at least one of the positive and negative electrodes is covered with an ion conductive polymeric film. |
