OPTICAL ON-VEHICLE COMMUNICATION DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide an optical on-vehicle communication device which can prevent the continuous transmission of up-link data. CONSTITUTION: This communication device is provided with a receiver means which receives the optical signal projected from an optical vehicle sensor and sends the received data to a data processor means 120, and the transmitter means 117 and 118 which transmit the transmitting data to the optical vehicle sensor based on the transmitting commands given from the means 120. The means 120 has such a constitution where no transmitting commands are sent to both means 117 and 118 before the detection value received from a distance detector means 130 which detects the moved distance of a vehicle reaches the 1st prescribed value if the receiving means received no data corresponding to the transmitting data after the transmitting commands are sent to the means 117 and 118 based on the received data and both means 117 and 118 transmit the transmitting data.
