PURPOSE: To provide an erasing head making a phase transition type medium in the state of saturated erasure with one erasing operation. CONSTITUTION: The output of a two-beam semiconductor laser 201 is made parallel by a collimator lens 202, advances straight through a beam splitter 203, is deflected by 90 deg. by means of a 45 deg. mirror 204, converged by an objective lens 205 and two beams 207, 208 are landed on an optical disk 206. Consequently, twice erasure is resulted with one erasing operation. |
