PURPOSE: To prevent the eddy current loss reduction effect from being suppressed when grooves are made in the outer circumferential surface of a rotor by making grooves having accurate profile uniformly. CONSTITUTION: A groove is made on a rotor by means of pressers 5a, 5b for supporting a rotor 2 at the opposite ends of the rotary shaft, a roll dies 6 for making a groove in the outer circumference of field cores 2a, 2b of the rotor, and a presser dies 70 having a groove matching a groove 2e being made by means of the roll dies 6. |
