<p>PURPOSE: To provide a ground fault position detecting device which can accurately locate a gas division in which a ground fault occurs in a gas-insulated switchgear(GIS) having a plurality of gas divisions separated from each other by insulating spacers. CONSTITUTION: In a GIS which has a plurality of gas divisions 14-16 separated from each other by insulating spacers 32-34, optical-fiber current transformers CT1-CT2 for detecting zero-phase currents are provided on the outer periphery of each spacer 32-34 and the outputs of the transformers CT1-CT3 are inputted to an accident point locating device 45. The device 45 monitors the occurrence of a ground fault in each gas division based on the outputs of the transformers CT1-CT3 respectively fitted to the spacers 32-34 separating the gas division from each other.</p> |
