IMAGE FORMING DEVICE, REGENERATING DEVICE FOR RECORDING MEDIUM AND PRINTING MATERIAL TO BE USED FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: To easily and completely regenerate a recording medium at a low cost by using a printing material suitable for a device consisting of a combination of an image forming device and a regenerating device in which the ink as the printing material is removed by using an ink-removing liquid and the recording medium is discharged in a state to be regenerated. CONSTITUTION: The printing material has the BET specific surface area between >=1.7m<2> /g and <=2.5m<2> /g and is suitable for an ink-removing liquid containing water and such a component that dissolves or swells the resin. The printing material consists of at least a coloring agent and a binder resin and includes various kinds of toners or powdery ink used for electrophotographic copying. The ink-removing liquid contains a component which dissolves or swells the resin of the printing material and contains water as the essential component which swells the fiber of paper as one kind of recording material to render the printing material in such a state that can be easily separated from the paper fiber. As for the component to dissolve or swell the resin of the printing material, for example, bivalent org. acid monoesters, glycol ethers and other org. solvents are used.
