<p>PURPOSE: To improve accuracy in the entering of the leading edge of a recording sheet into a second recording means by straightening the recording sheet curled with a first recording means, to keep a recording position and the size of the margin of the leading edge constant and to obtain a high quality image without shear of image by providing a means straightening the curling of the recording sheet between the first and second recording means. CONSTITUTION: The recorder is provided with a process cartridge 2 served as the first recording means on the upstream side of the carrying path of the recording sheet P, an ink-jet recording part 3 served as the second recording means on the downstream side of the carrying path and a pair of curl straightening rollers 5 served as a curling straightening means for straightening the curling of the recording sheet P between a thermal fixing unit 4 provided on the downstream side of the process cartridge 2 and the ink-jet recording part 3 and the recording sheet P after its curling is straightening by a pair of the curl straightening rollers 5 is carried while the left edge in the advancing direction of the recording sheet P is positioned, by carrying rollers 32 and 33, slantingly carrying rollers 41 and 42 and sheet guides 43 and 44.</p> |
