The tool is made up of a body (1) longitudinally slotted (h) at one end along its longitudinal axis (g) and whose faces can be clamped together by a screwed guide pin (4) thus holding in position two cutting tool bits (2,3) by the forcing together of the two zones (a). This pin (4) is positioned along the axis (g).The cutting tool bits (2,3) are provided with a slope on their rear clamping face (n) and the tool has pegs with spherical heads (5,6) which engage with recesses in the back edges of the tool bits to position and centre them. Adjustment is made by a unit made up of a screw (10) with a pointed end which bears on the sloping surface of the rear end of a stud (9).
