BIOSENSOR AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a biosensor capable of easily measuring whole glucose amount regardless of the isomer ratio of glucose. CONSTITUTION: The title biosensor is constituted of an insulative base 1, an electrode system having a working electrode 4 and an opposite electrode 5 formed on the base 1 and a reaction layer 20 which contains a glucose oxidation ferment and isomer ferment of glucose. A plurality of electrode systems and reaction layers are provided. One of the reaction layers 20 contains a ferment having capability of oxidizing glucose and another reaction layer 20 contains an ferment with capability of oxidizing the ferment and a ferment with capability of promoting isomerization reaction of glucose.
