DEHUMIDIFYING AND DRYING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To perform an efficient dehumidifying or drying in an indoor area or an efficient reproducing processing of a rotary type dehumidifying element by a method wherein an electrical heater is installed at a U-turn site between a feeding passage and a discharging passage for divided air after moisture adsorption and an aeration heating surface of a heater is oppositely faced against a reproducing processing part of the rotary type dehumidifying element. CONSTITUTION: Within a reproducing chamber 41 are formed a divided air feeding passage 43 after moisture from a heat recovery processing part of a rotary type dehumidifying element 31 and a discharging passage 44 for returning in U-form to a reproducing processing part 31B of the dehumidifying element 31. The U-turn site between the feeding passage 43 and the discharging passage 44 is provided with an electrical heater 45. A part of wet air A is passed through a heat recoverying part 31C of the dehumidifying element 31 so as to adsorb moisture and concurrently the divided flow air is returned back to heat the heater 45, the reproduced air C heated at a high temperature is passed through a reproducing processing part 31B of the dehumidifying element 31 so as to perform a reproducing processing of the dehumidifying element 31.
