<p>PURPOSE: To selectively operate any of a pointing device and a tablet by providing plural pointing devices with individual tables for storing and managing both static information and dynamic information on plural tablets. CONSTITUTION: When a data processing system 10 is initialized, a tablet driver 20 confirms the state of plural input ports to judge how many and what input devices are provided, and generates individual device detailed information tables 36, 37, and 38 by the input devices. When the input devices are tablets and each tablet is equipped with only one position indicator, each piece of device detailed information is information on each tablet. When plural position indicators are connected, information showing which tablet each position indicator belongs to is included. Then the tablet driver 20 stores the actual information in the tables.</p> |
