<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the delay of doze judgement, to emit an alarm in an early stage when it is required, to prevent the alarm from being emitted when it is not necessary and to perform alarming matched with the feeling of a driver. CONSTITUTION: This doze alarming device detects the blinks of the driver, calculates the feature amount of the detected blinks, compares the feature amount of the blinks with a prescribed threshold value, judges the doze of the driver and performs the alarming. Road form judgement means 18, 20 and 22 judge a road form where a present vehicle is traveling. A threshold value change means 24 changes the threshold value corresponding to the judged road form.</p> |
