<p>PURPOSE: To improve detection accuracy by calculating, of detected voltage values, the voltage value from an electrode where impressed voltage is maximum, the voltage values from neighboring electrodes on both sides of the electrode and the bias amount in the electrode array direction between the input pen and the electrodes which are the nearest to the input pen respectively by the use of prescribed related expressions. CONSTITUTION: On each electrode of a tablet 1 arrayed in a matrix shape, the voltage oscillating from an input pen 2 is impressed through capacitance. In the impressed voltage, the voltage according to the capacitance between the input pen 2 and each electrode is outputted. At this stage, when the pitch between each electrode is defined as P, the voltage value from an electrode where impressed voltage is maximum defined as V1 , the voltage values from the both electrodes adjacent to the electrode are defined as V2 and V3 , the deflection amount L in the electrode array direction between the input pen 2 and the electrode which is the nearest the input pen 2 is determined as L=P (V1 V2 -V1 V3 )/2 (V1 V3 +V1 V2 -2V2 V3 ). This arithmetic expression is a linear function expression, the load to a CPU 15 is reduced, and a detection with high accuracy can be performed without any relation to the distance between the input pen 2 and the tablet 1.</p> |
