PURPOSE: To ensure steady supply of toner over a long period of time simply by pressing a toner supply member, formed from a plate spring, to a developing roller and vibrating it, thereby achieving the efficient filling of the toner into a wedge part. CONSTITUTION: The toner supply member 24, formed from the plate spring, is pressed to the developing roller 22 so that the toner 16 is fed toward the developing roller 22. The toner supply member 24 vibrates by the rotation of the developing roller 22, so that the toner is compressed and filled into a wedge part 25. The filled toner 16 is supplied to the developing roller 22 and carried to a developing area after the thickness of the toner layer is regulated by a blade 26. |
