<p>PURPOSE: To provide a connector capable of ensuring proper contact with the conductor of an insulated cable, mechanical holding, and reliable connection over a long term, regarding a connector for holding a cable along the shield thereof. CONSTITUTION: This connector has a body 1 with a cable holding groove 2 on one side, and a movable member 6 with a coupling body 4 slidably coupled to the coupling hole 3 of the body 1 as well as a cable holding groove 5 faced to the groove 2. Furthermore, the connector has a bolt 7 for screwing a head section 7a projected from the external surface of the body 1 to the member 6 via the hole of the body 1. Also, branch cable holding grooves 9 and 10 are formed at the position where the body 1 and the member 6 are faced to each other. Regarding this connector, blades 12 are formed at both sides within the groove 2 of the body 1. A gap between the blades 12 is made slightly smaller than the diameter of a cable conductor to be held, and the end of each blade 12 faced to the opening of the groove 2 is formed to have an acute angle.</p> |
