<p>PURPOSE: To effect efficient heating or generation of steam by a method wherein combustion heat, generated on a catalyst, is transferred to fins in a combustion chamber employing radiation and heat transmission effectively to effect heat exchange, in a catalyst combustion device for burning gas fuel through catalyst combustion. CONSTITUTION: Fins 9, projected inward direction of a combustion chamber 4 along the flow direction in the combustion chamber 4, and thin sheet type catalysts 6 are installed in the combustion chamber 4 between the fins 9 while a high radiation absorbing layer 10 is provided at the upstream part of the fins 9.</p> |
