PURPOSE: To dispense with the decrease of reliability caused by a reelectrifying process in a multicolor image forming cycle, to effectively prevent irregularities in a toner image which has already been developed, without unnecessarily making a uniform potential by electrification high and further, to enable stable image formation in a secular change all the time. CONSTITUTION: In a multicolor image forming device with uniformly electrifying, first exposing and developing, uniformly exposing and second exposing and developing processes, the toner image with black toner T1 is formed by a first developing means 4 and a developing bias voltage including a DC component higher than the potential of the first black toner image and lower than the potential of a uniformly exposing position at an absolute value is impressed by a second developing means 7, to attain the reversal development of the second electrostatic latent image Z2 with the second color toner T2 except the black toner. Moreover, image forming conditions by an image forming condition control means 11 are controlled based on the output of the detection from an image state detecting means 10, as necessary. |
