MATRIX TYPE PATCH PREPARATION

A matrix type patch preparation having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprising a physiologically active substance, organic acid, hydrophobic polymer, tackifier resin, plasticizer and sorbefacient preferably in the proportion of 0.1-20 wt.%, 0.01-15 wt.%, 15-60 wt.%, 10-70 wt.%, 10-60 wt.% and 0.01-20 wt.%, respectively. Preferable examples of the organic acid are aliphatic carboxylic acids, aromatic carboxylic acids, alkylsulfonic acids, alkylsulfonic acid derivatives, cholic acid derivatives, and water-soluble inorganic salts thereof. This preparation serves to enhance percutaneous absorbability of the physiologically active substance and is extremely reduced in skin irritation.
