The invention concerns a device for presenting a variable number of back-lit advertising carriers consisting of poster-like blanks. Each advertising carrier comprises a pocket comprising two transparent foil blanks which are interconnected at their ends and open at the sides. These pockets can be moved by a drive arrangement out of a chamber on the rear housing wall into the back-lit region of the visible surface and from there back into the chamber. Each pocket is followed by a further pocket which is in contact with a motor-driven toothed wheel which drives a continuous frame.
