<p>A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus comprises an examination bed having one magnetic pole therein and an upper flat surface, a top portion having the other magnetic pole therein and a lower surface which faces the upper surface of the examination bed, a bed disposed adjacent to the examination bed, and a pair of struts provided on both sides of the examination bed for connecting the examination bed and the top portion to each other by themselves. A space between the lower surface of the top portion and the upper surface of the examination bed is opened at least between the right and left struts on a side of the bed.</p> |
