A time-temperature control system for heat-sensitive substances stored at an above-zero temperature of 0-84 DEG C, consisting of a reaction mixture made up of substances causing a non-enzymatic browning reaction that may be very substantially speeded up by adding reaction activating and water activity controlling compounds, said activated reaction mixture being enclosed in a hermetically sealed container made of translucent material.
