A compound having a psychotropic effect and represented by general formula (I) and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein one of R<1> and R<2> represents W-(CH2)m-, wherein m is an integer of from 1 to 4, and another represents hydrogen or optionally substituted lower alkyl; W represents a group represented by formula (i) (wherein R<3> represents hydrogen or halogeno; A represents oxygen or sulfur; B represents nitrogen or CH and Y represents CH or nitrogen); and the cyclic structure -D- represents one member selected from among those represented by formulae (a) to (d), wherein n represents an integer of 0 to 2; R<4? and R?5> independently represent hydrogen, lower alkyl, hydroxy, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl or aminocarbonyl; and the solid line accompanied by the dotted line represents either a single bond or a double bond.
