PURPOSE: To enable the integration of a light emitting and a light receiving elements with a slider and to transfer a power source and a signal from the light emitting and the light receiving elements by integrating an optical head and a slider, their supporting means and a wiring means. CONSTITUTION: This optical head 1 is provided with a substrate 10A having a light emitting element 11 and light receiving elements 141a-d, 142a-d, and an optical member 20 having a light collecting part 21, an optical path compensating part 25 and a reflection film 22. A focusing coil part composed of driving coils 61a, 61b and a bobbin 63, etc., magnets 53a, 53b, a floating slider, an optical head supporting part 40 of a supporting means and a flexible printed wiring member (EPC) 70 of a wiring means are integrated together. Consequently, since the parts composing the optical head are integrated, the optical head is made small in size, light in weight and formed integrally, the device is made inexpensive, working and assembling accuracies are improved and high density recording is facilitated. |
