The machine has knives on a rotary shaft for perforating paper strips, which form a laminated hose, to allow sacks to be torn off. A roller applies a lengthwise seam of glue to the edges, offset sideways, of the paper strips as they are brought together by guide rollers before folding into a hose, and drums with bars form transverse glue seams. Four brackets (25) evenly spaced round the shaft (24) accommodate perforating knives (11) as desired and are individually adjustable in the radial direction. |
