The heating device is claimed for washing machines with a container for accommodating washing solution. The heating process takes place by means of direct introduction of steam (1) via a steam jet nozzle (3), which is succeeded by a tubular reaction space (6) with an opening for the entry of liquid (8) to be heated and a second opening for the discharge of heated liquid (12).
